Cabinet handle drilling template

Set the center-to-center spacing and edge offsets. Download a measured template, then verify its calibration on paper before marking.

Measure before you mark.

Print at 100% / Actual size. Measure both 50 mm guides and the 1 inch guide before marking or drilling.

Behind the numbers.

FIGGYR / FIELD NOTES

How it works

Offsets locate the first hole center from the left and top cabinet edges. The second center is to its right for horizontal handles or below it for vertical handles. The PDF includes reference lines and guides measuring 50 mm horizontally, 50 mm vertically and 1 inch. Print at 100% / Actual size with Fit and Shrink disabled. Measure every guide with a ruler before marking, check your actual handle and edge positions, and stop if any dimension is wrong. The screen preview is not actual size.

The formulaHole 1 = left-edge offset, top-edge offset
Hole 2 = hole 1 + center spacing along the selected axis
PDF scale = 72 points / 25.4 mm

Put it into practice

EXAMPLE

A 96 mm horizontal handle with 25 mm left and top offsets places its centers at (25, 25) and (121, 25) mm from the reference edges.

EXAMPLE

Switching to landscape can fit a longer handle, but any layout that still will not fit is rejected instead of being scaled down.

Good to know

Is the guide circle a drill-bit recommendation?

No. It is a drawn guide only. Choose hardware, screw length, drill bit and a safe drilling method for your actual material and handle. Check for obstructions and protect the surface.

Can the PDF guarantee printer accuracy?

No. Printer drivers and physical printers may scale or distort output. The PDF requests no scaling, but you must measure both axes and the inch guide on the printed sheet before use.

Which paper sizes are supported?

A4 and US Letter in portrait or landscape, one page only. No tiled multi-sheet templates or automatic resizing.
